Who are we?
That's a good question.
I'm the girl. I attend the University of Tulsa and I am majoring in Deaf Education.
He's the Marine. He's a United States Marine, duh.
We haven't had the most typical relationship. Or even close. We are far from traditional. We have forged our own path and so far, we are holding our own. We met in high school. My freshman/his senior year to be exact. Chased each other in circles until we were dizzy. Finally, we fell together in the middle of my senior year.
I left for college.
He left for boot camp.
This is our story. Plain and simple. From my perspective, that is. Some days are about love and relationships. Others are about frustration, the USMC, and distance. Everyday is different. Through it all, we have love for each other that keeps us strong. Hang tight as we try to figure it all out!
