Are you sure it's only the third week of school? I'm sure I've been here for much longer than that. I know that this doesn't even compare to what it's going to be like once all my classes get on a schedule and plan tests and essays the same week. But really?! Only week 3?! Give me a break. Or at least a nap.
The weekend with the boy was lovely, albeit rainy. It's never quite long enough, but it will get me through the next few months if it must. I stole (rather, he gave me) his cammies. Which means soon I will be ordering a purse that will be made from them! I can't wait to get it started, I'm sure it will be beautiful, if it's anything like the rest of her work.

Check her out! She's amazing! I won't tell you the final decision or what I want, but I will post a picture whenever I get it... Which could be a while since she has quite a waiting list right now. Better late than never, right?
While it seems as though I have been in school forever, I can't believe I'm already halfway through my first 6 weeks of kickboxing. It has been interesting to say the least. I can definitely tell a difference from the first day, but watching all the other women there, boy, I've got a ways to go. Kayla and I will have to sign up for another six weeks, and another, and probably three more before we can consider being any where close to some of these ladies. It's always a challenge, but we always seem to leave in high spirits. Must be Lance and Donna.
As of today, the next time I will definitely see the boy is Thanksgiving. It's nearly three months away, basically the entire semester. Long time. I will be spending a lot of time waiting for an opportunity, counting down the days until I see him, and praying that everything falls into place in the best possible way. I'm nervous about it, simply because it's a whole new adventure for us. We have a lot to learn in these three months and we will be challenged in ways that we can't imagine, I'm sure. In the end, it will be interesting, difficult, but most of all, rewarding. If you have never been away from somebody important for more than a few days, you can't imagine the feeling when you finally get reunited. It's something for the books. It actually makes up for those less than perfect nights.
Tomorrow starts a whole new chapter, practicum! Fingers crossed the preschoolers don't hate me!
