Stephanie? Who?

Hey everybody! My name is Stephanie. You might not have that figured out yet because I seem to get lost in the shuffle a lot. I get stuck behind all that marine nonsense and sometimes I forget that I too have a personality. Which just irks the Marine Corps like none other. But... They made me do push-ups so I'm okay with irking them. Don't get me wrong, I love being the other half of this relationship. Even if it is a little bit more stressful than most. And if it sucks your soul right out of you and into the Semper Fi spirit. Or something. I love the Marine. But I love me, too.

I believe doing things for me and with people that I enjoy being with is quite crucial to me staying sane. Especially since the boy is gone and I can't spend countless hours watching him play his xbox.

Today I just want to jump out from behind the nonsense and tell you all that I'm still here. I'm still me. I'm just a little more.... red, white, and blue?

Full of personality, I say!

My school work has become a great time sucker of mine, which is probably acceptable since I don't work and my "job" is attending school... but still. Between going to class, getting hours for practicum (both in the community and in the classroom), trying to find time to work at Happy Hands, observing for audiology, going to Deaf events for ASL, kickboxing, and doing my homework, I generally have just enough time for sleep and a shower.

I'm currently on the search for things to do with what little spare time I actually have. I need something crafty to do. I should probably talk to Kayla about that. She's the queen of Mod Podge apparently. Perhaps I need to pick up my knitting needles and get back at that. I'm not sure what it is I'm going to do in all of my spare time, but I'm sure it will be very lovely. I know speaking in a British accent will be incorporated into everything I do, thanks roommates.

This weekend I have one thing planned that will for sure be for me and me alone. I'll let you know more about that when I get closer to the event. Or perhaps after the event takes place. Pictures are always good! Then again, it might go badly, and I'll want to avoid talking about it at all ;)

Back to school, back to school. To prove to y'all that I'm no fool. :)

Oh, and lastly? I'm planning on making a trip back to Facebook in the near future. It's still in the works, but soon! I have a couple more weeks, but once this first round of tests and what not goes down, I'll be back! Maybe...

  1. You know this is exactly why I love you. You love my Cody - OK, well our Cody, but you haven't lost you. I love the you that is impulsive, fun, passionate about your career choice, loving, sarcastic, all wrapped in one adorable package. Always remember to take care of you and if there is anything I can do to help with that, I'm just a phone call away. Love you - O'Nini
